7 DAYS /6 NIGHTS TARANGIRE, SERENGETI, NGORONGORO CRATER, MATERUNI HIKING, CULTURAL AND COFFEE TOUR AND KIKULETWA HOTSPRING
After pick up from the airport and check in at hotel in Arusha, we will depart for a day hiking, coffee and cultural tour at Materuni, the last village found at the down-slope of Mount Kilimanjaro, in the village, we will have a high time to hike to the waterfalls and enjoy the scenic downfall of water that resulted from the melted ice from Kilimanjaro peak, we pay a visit to coffee plantation and learn from the local guide on how they plant, treat, harvest the coffee, how to dry it and how to make it locally until when it come to your cup as coffee ready to drink, all this process will be done by yourself locally under guidance, however we will enjoy local tradition dishes as lunch, test local brews and local beers made in the village locally and in the evening we will drive back to Arusha at Gate 2 Hotel for overnight. After breakfast the tour departs we heading towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. You will have full day game drive and speculate the natural beauty of the Park and late afternoon, you will driver back to Campsite Kizumba for dinner and Overnight.(FB)
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Seronera campsite.
After breakfast drive, you will have morning game drive in the park, lunch at lodge or campsite, and then drive to Ngorongoro with game drive en-route. Dinner and overnight at campsite.
After breakfast, descend into the crater with lunch box, enjoy full day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Late afternoon will drive back to Arusha town at Arusha Gate way 2 hotel for overnight (bed and breakfast).
After breakfast we will have a morning hours city tour in Arusha visiting clock tower, local market and Masai Market, after that will drive straight to Kikuletwa hot spring together with our lunch boxes and mineral water, you will enjoy the rest of your day swimming and later evening we will drive back to Arusha.
