Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Goma → Orientation Briefing → Afternoon Nature Walk
- Arrival at Goma airport and transfer to Virunga NP
- Orientation briefing about gorilla trekking
- Afternoon guided nature walk
Day 2: Gorilla Trek (8 AM Start; 1 Hour with Gorillas)
- Early morning briefing and start of the gorilla trek
- Spend 1 hour observing habituated gorillas in their natural habitat
- Afternoon at leisure or optional activities
Day 3: Optional Senkwekwe Orphanage Visit → Return to Goma
- Optional morning visit to Senkwekwe Gorilla Orphanage
- Transfer back to Goma for departure or onward travel
