3 DAYS GORILLA HABITUATION EXPERIENCE
Our 3 day / 2 night fly-safari, is a fabulous safari – specially designed for those who are short of time, but want to see the rare and endangered Mountain Gorillas.This safari includes flights over the beautiful highlands of Uganda boasting incredible scenery. There is a drive from the airstrip via local villages to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – from where you will be able enjoy a thrilling visit with the Mountain Gorillas in the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable forest.After two nights here, you drive back to the airstrip and return to Entebbe.
DAY ONE
Depart Entebbe Airport on your scheduled flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes just over an hour. Upon arrival you will be met by an Agasaro Safaris’ representative and driven to Four Gorillas Lodge, located in Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive to the lodge is through local villages and mountain roads – lovely scenery and very interesting en route!Optional activities are available that can be enjoyed in and around the park include forest walks, visits to a local school or orphanage or Batwa pygmy village, and curio shopping

DAY TWO
Transfer for approx. 20 minutes to the park headquarters in Bwindi Forest National Park for your pre-tour briefing before you start the gorilla habituation experience.The habituation permit does ALLOW the trekkers to spend up to 4 hours with the gorillas, but it does not guarantee that the clients will spend 4 hours with the gorillas. It totally depends on how long it takes to get to the gorillas. If the gorillas are found within a couple of hours, then it is more than likely that the clients will get to spend the full 4 hours with the apes. But if it takes longer to get to the gorillas then the clients may not have the full 4 hours with them. The guide will make a decision based on the location and how far it will take to walk back to the finish point and also how the gorillas are behaving. It should be remembered that these gorillas are not fully habituated yet so the guides will have the final word on how long trekkers are able to be with them for based on the behavior of the group in reaction to the trekkers’ presence.Return to the lodge for a complimentary fully body or feet massage to help relax the body after a long day of trekking.

EXPERT TIPS:
- Wear long trousers and a long sleeved shirt over the top of a t-shirt.
- Strong, 'worn-in' hiking boots with long socks into which you tuck in your trousers.
- Day bag with waterproofs, 2-3 liters of water and your packed lunch.
- Gardening gloves can prove useful to protect your hands from thorns and stinging nettles.
- Secure the services of a porter to carry your day bag and help you with the terrain.
DAY THREE
After an early breakfast, you will drive for approx. 1 -2 hrs. to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe.
