Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport; meet your guide and transfer to Arusha (≈1 hr).

Afternoon at leisure to explore the town or relax at your lodge.

Overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge (opens 1st Jan 2026)  or Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast, then depart by private 4×4 (≈2 hrs) into Tarangire NP.

Morning game drive among ancient baobabs—look for elephants, lions, and birdlife.

Lunch at the lodge; afternoon siesta.

Late-afternoon game drive as the golden light brings wildlife to watering holes.

Overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge or Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire → Ngorongoro Crater

Pre-dawn optional walking safari with a ranger (extra cost).

Mid-morning drive to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Full-day crater tour—picnic lunch on the floor as you track lions, buffalo, rhino, and more.

Late-afternoon ascent to the crater rim and return to Arusha.

Overnight at Maramboi Tented Lodge or Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast, transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
