Detailed Itinerary
Days 1–3: Masai Mara, Kenya
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi; charter flight to Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Full-day Mara exploration—track migrating herds, big-cat action. Optional hot-air balloon at dawn.
Day 3: Morning and sunset drives focusing on river crossings and dramatic landscapes.
Days 4–5: Serengeti & Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Day 4: Cross into Tanzania’s Serengeti NP; afternoon game drive among resident wildlife.
Day 5: Early transfer to Ngorongoro Crater rim. Full-day crater floor safari with picnic lunch; return to the Arusha area.
Day 6: Arusha → Kigali → Musanze
Morning charter flight Arusha → Kigali.
Transfer to Musanze on Volcanoes NP’s doorstep; evening at eco-lodge.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking
Pre-dawn departure for gorilla trek in Volcanoes NP. Spend up to one hour observing habituated gorilla families.
Afternoon cultural visit to Iby’iwacu village for traditional dance and crafts.
Day 8: Golden Monkey Trek OR Optional Hike
